The automatic response to stress is to ignore the problem that is causing it, but do not do that it can stress you out even more. Another thing is to avoid negative talk about your self. Talking negative about your self does not help you become stress free. Most stress is produced form ourselves thinking about things that we ’should’ get done or what we ’must’ do. Thinking about things that you have no control over at the moment can stress you out so instead thinking about things that are more realistic at the time can help reduce your stress. Also just facing reality can help reduce stress. Like avoiding negative talk about yourself, facing reality can give you control of the things that are going on around you. Instead of stressing out about the things you cannot change or what you can think in the present and do what you can at the time.

Forget about the things that cannot be taken care of at the moment. Always live in the moment in reality. A great way to relieve the stress that we have and to also prevent more stress is exercising. By exercising you are maintaining your body, which then helps relieve the stress you have. You can do any activity to improve your cardiovascular fitness. Like going swimming, taking the dog for a walk, hiking in the woods outside, going running, or even going to the gym and working out a few hours. Your diet also has an effect on your stress.

Along with exercising, eating healthy can help you maintain your body too. By balancing your diet properly and getting the right amount of nutrients in your diet you will be able to keep your weight you want. The other up about keeping a good balanced diet is that it also helps you avoid nicotine and caffeine which can drag you down and make you crave more when stress out.
